| Current Positions Available: Sales Associate |
|
Overview: GreenCoast is seeking a Sales Associate to assist retail customers in making the best purchasing decisions to meet their gardening needs. The ideal candidate will have a background in hydroponics and traditional gardening, retail experience, and experience in building lasting customer relationships. Candidates must be computer savvy and willing to learn the latest gardening techniques and be capable of relaying this knowledge to customers. Strong communication skills, a customer service-oriented attitude, and an outgoing personality are required.

Primary Functions:
- Drive in-store sales by promoting the GreenCoast methodology of building great gardens to all customers
- Assist customers with garden design, nutrient regiments, and trouble shooting
- Process customer transactions at the point of sale
- Assist with checking orders into the store and maintaining accurate inventory counts
- Help online customers over the phone and via online-chat sessions
- Ensure all customers needs are met (back-orders processed, emails answered, special shipping requests handled, etc.)
- Maintain solid customer relationships by promptly addressing questions and concerns
- Identify, research, and resolve customer issues
- Communicate and work with various departments as needed
- Recommend process improvements
- Other duties as assigned
Skills:

- Strong sales skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to set priorities, respond to changes, and demonstrate flexibility in dealing with daily demands
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- High School Diploma required, Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
